Mobile data activation: how to change APN settings

Steps to follow to do APN configuration in your smartphone

You need to configure The Access Point Name (APN) for activate mobile data of your smartphone.

What is your mobile device?

Configuration for Android

Manual configuration connection of data in Android:

  • From the main menu, select the SETTINGS option.

SETTINGS > MORE / MORE ADJUSTMENTS / MORE NETWORKS > MOBILE NETWORK > APN / NAMES OF ACCESS POINTS > NEW APN

  • In the name, enter LCR or the name of your company.
  • In APN enter lcrinternet (important: in lowercase letters)

  • In MCC you must enter 214

  • In MNC enter 03

  • The other options must be blank, default or not defined.

  • Save the settings, selecting the SAVE option in the Menu.

  • Check that the APN you have created is activated, marked with a green or blue circle.

  • Finally, check that USE OF DATA or USE PACKAGE DATA or MOBILE DATA is activated.

-For Xiaomi phones

  1. Type of APN (You must type exactly this with no signs or spaces): default,dun,supl

Configuration for iOS

-Automatic configuration connection of data in iOS

Download and install the self‐configurable application in your phone. (Wifi connection will be always needed). If asking for a PIN, use the unlocking PIN of the device.

If you have problems, you can try manual configuration connection of data in iOS: 

  • From the main menu, select the SETTINGS option.

SETTINGS > MOBILE DATA > MOBILE DATA NETWORK > APN 

  • In APN enter lcrinternet (important: in lowercase letters).

  • The other options must be blank, default or not defined.
